Dear Daddy: Day Three

So Daddy, today LF tried to scare the living daylights out of me. He managed to get a hold of my package of tums from last night and ate, what we figure, about 6 or so of them. But a quick, anxious call to poison control assured me that he just had his calcium intake for oh, about 3 days and that at the most he'll be constipated for about that long as well.
Apparently tums are tasty, and constipation makes him grouchy.
But in it's entirety we had a good day.
We were woke this morning by a call (that everybody was too lazy to get up and answer) from Great Grandma. As it turns out we now have two new additions to the extended family in the cute, tiny form of twin boys! Z], weighing in at 3.3 pounds and J, weighing in at 4 pounds. (I hope I have that right!) They were 8 1/2 weeks early but they're doing good!

We decided to continue our exciting day and took Aunty B swimming this afternoon, where LF proceeded to attempt drowning himself, as per his usual pool escapades, and LH secured herself in a life jacket in order to give swimming by herself a go. (Which, unfortunately, still didn't turn out well. But she did try, and she's getting braver!)

I have to say though, there was no mention all day long about any missing canines, nor any the lessening presence of the shedding fur coat.

Our day in pictures, starting with waking Aunty B up from the late night that turned into a sleepover:
LFhad an owie this morning from pinching his finger in the closet door. It would have been a nasty blood blister but the edge managed to split and it bled a bit, so not wanting to scare him with the blood or get it all over the house I put a nice, manly Batman bandaid on it:
But that didn't sit well with the little man: Taking off the offensive, apparently wussy, band-aid set everything right however and the blood (or the cut in general) didn't phase him a bit! Pretty tough kid.

We also discovered that his 'fixing' the house yesterday was just training for his true calling:
LF the brain surgeon.
Meanwhile LH is also practicing for her career as an artist:

We love you Daddy! Missing you tons!
