Three full weeks in.
And amazingly everyone's sane still.
Or at least that's what we're all saying. Though I wouldn't be surprised if we're not one small dog hair away from Grandma cracking.
It's not really that bad though, we're surrounded in christmas and family so I can't complain too much. I don't know about everyone else though! They're not used to two kids and a puppy like we are.
As for the kids, I think Lil' F's going insane. Between the snowman explosion and the mountain of christmas presents, all of which he's not allowed to touch, he's got pretty itchy fingers. There's just not enough toys and too many other things to get into.
Lil' H on the other hand is even enjoying going to the gym with mommy. Between the playroom and the family channel she's set.
On the home front, our first weekend back to our house together was solely for the purpose of snow removal. And even though there had been no lookers for about a week and half and we were in town for little over 24 hours, we managed to have someone come look at the house while we were home.
But needless to say we are now the proud owners of one brand new snow blower.
We have been looking at houses a little bit here as well, but there is really nothing on the market right now. There's one place that we're interested in looking into more. It's got a view of the lake even. A master bedroom with a beautiful ensuite and walk-in closet, and it has great natural lighting. The basement is not quite finished and the outside needs updating, but otherwise I'm really interested! But we'll have to see if it's still around when our house sells.... There's got to be a house selling god out there somewhere to appeal to isn't there!?? :)
